About the Instructor

April Noel

First learning about her interest for the performing arts on a religious stage, April Noel has continued to find renewed passion and love for the theatre outside of religion. Having studied in high school, college, and independently during adulthood, April continues to study the craft so as to create a sturdy foundation for her to play within. Even while teaching others she herself never stops learning.

April is no stranger to teaching, having taught piano for many years both independently, as well as through Piano Trends Music Company in Crystal Lake. She has also instructed acting through Dream Makers Studio in the early 2000's prior to the birth of her daughter.

April has graced local stages such as the Woodstock Opera House, McHenry County College Black Box Theater, PM&L, and the Mary Arrchie Theatre of Chicago. April is also part of the cast that makes up Season One of Upstaged the Series which can be found on YouTube, being featured in Episodes 1-3. Most recently April has joined the plays of William Street Rep Comedy who perform at the Raue Center Café every third Thursday of the month. April continues to practice her craft on these and hopes to grace new stages as she continues with her acting career.

April states that the greatest thing about teaching any subject is seeing the metaphoric light bulb turn on in someone's eyes as they realize something they hadn't understood before.
